Julius Hübner

Julius Hübner (1806-1882) was a German painter of landscapes and historical subject. He studied at the Prussian Academy of Arts in Berlin, and in Düsseldorf. Later he moved to Dresden, becoming a professor in the Academy of Arts in 1841 and director of the Royal Gallery of Paintings in 1871. Read more on Wikipedia.
